The party after the Hall of Fame Induction
Posted in General Sports on July 30th, 2006I guess you could call it a party. It’s the dinner for only the memebers of the Hall of Fame. Bud will attend and give us a state of the game review but really it’s just a great way to sit, eat and drink with old freinds. Each year pretty much the same guys sit at the same table. As usual Sandy Koufax, Tom Seaver, Fergie Jenkins, myself and a few ( Carlton and Gibson are missing this year) others sit around tell storeis eat and drink some wine. This year it was my turn to bring the wine. I brought in some Joseph Phelps Insignia (just happens to be voted the Wine Spectators #1 for the year) should be great. Well they are giving us the call for dinner so I got to run…
